Laura Woyen

Laura grew up in Madison, MN. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies with concentrations in civil and criminal litigation from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in May 1999. While attending MSUM, Laura received the West Legal Studies Award and was inducted into Lambda Epsilon Chi, the National Honor Society for Paralegals.

Upon graduation, she worked in a private practice personal injury law firm in St. Cloud, MN and 10 years at the Stearns County Attorney’s Office handling criminal, juvenile, and civil matters. She also spent two years working in the areas of corporate governance, transactions, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).

Laura joined the Serkland Law Firm in 2014, and she works primarily in the areas of oil and gas, business dispute litigation, and professional ethics disputes.
