Tim Richard was born and raised on his family's farm near Fargo, North Dakota. He received a B.S. in Economics from North Dakota State University in 1992 and then went on to obtain his J.D. from the University of North Dakota in 1997. In law school, he was a member of the Board of Editors for the North Dakota Law Review and received a Best Oralist Award at the Pace University Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. Mr. Richard served as law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Karen K. Klein in Fargo from 1997-1999. He joined the firm in 1999. His practice areas include business law, estate planning, probate and real estate.
