Former Serkland Attorney Lowell Lundberg Dies
Lowell W. Lundberg, 85, of Fargo, died on August 3, 2013. Born in 1927 in Edmore, North Dakota, Lowell was raised in Grafton.
Lowell served in the US Army, the North Dakota Army Reserve, and the North Dakota Air National Guard. He entered the military as soon as he was eligible and retired 32 years later as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Lowell was a proud alumni of the University of North Dakota undergraduate and school of law. After earning his JD from UND, Lowell joined the Serkland Lundberg Erickson Marcil and McLean law firm in 1956; he became a shareholder in 1960. His practice areas included real estate, corporate, and contract law.
A lifelong Tau Kappa Epsilon, fiscal conservative and classic car enthusiast, Lowell passed along his love of cars and the military, his passion for education, and appreciation for the Greek system, to his grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Lowell is survived by his wife, Marlys; sister, Lyn Webb; brother, Loren (Priscella) Lundberg; daughters, Diane (Martin) Ramos, and Karen (Ron Costello) Lundberg; stepchildren, Stephanie (Luigi) Paruccini and James (Ellen) Ford and several beloved grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
