Michael joined Serkland in 2024 and practices primarily in civil litigation and family law. Before coming to Serkland, he practiced in Northwest Minnesota, representing clients in various civil matters and handling municipal prosecutions.
Michael grew up in St. Anthony, Minnesota and attended college at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul. While in college, Michael interned for the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Cutter and for the Valspar Corporation’s legal team in Minneapolis. In 2021, Michael received his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Law– graduating top ten in his class. During law school, Michael competed in moot court, and was a member of the North Dakota Law Review where two of his articles were published.
